Before I trained as a general adult nurse, I worked as an auxiliary nurse in Yorkshire on a haematology ward and thoroughly enjoyed it. This led me to complete my nurse training at Huddersfield School of Health and Social Care. I then qualified in 2003 and moved to the Wantage area to begin my career as a RGN (Registered General Nurse).

I worked at Wantage Community Hospital for 6mths before joining the practice as a full time Practice nurse.

I enjoy the challenge that general practice nursing brings and its variety. I have a special interest in obesity management and helped develop the practice’s weight management service.  I am also in the process of developing my skills and knowledge in COPD and Asthma care

I now work part-time and enjoy spending my spare time doing various sports activities and spending time with my family.
