A home visit may be appropriate if you are too ill to come to surgery. If you need a home visit please telephone the Surgery on 01235 770245 before 10:30 am and your details will be taken by the Receptionist.

We try to assign home visits to the doctor who knows you best. However, on days when that doctor is not in the surgery or they have a lot of other visits to do you may be seen by an alternative doctor. Before the doctor visits they may phone you to ask further details of the problem. This helps them make sure that they are bringing the right equipment with them or whether the problem may be dealt with in an alternative way.

Home visits are very time consuming and we would, therefore, ask you to consider carefully whether or not a visit is necessary.
