Health Visitors are registered nurses with additional qualifications in promoting child health and development. We are family visitors with a special responsibility for  children and their parents. We also have a community staff nurse who works under the direction of the health visitors We are available to help, advise and support families with children.

 

Initial contact may be made during pregnancy or shortly after birth. If you move into the area with children under 5, contact will be made as soon as you register with the practice.

 

We offer an open baby clinic every Wednesday morning 09.30 till 11.00, in the Health Education room at the back of the main foyer. No appointment is required.
