I joined the practice in 1984. General family medicine. Intrauterine device insertions. I am Chairman of Oxfordshire Local Medical Committee, which looks after all the GPs in Oxfordshire. I am a Senior Lecturer and Tutor to the Department of Primary Care and General Practice in Oxford University, and have taught medical students from Oxford in the practice since 1989.

I am a professional cellist. I play in the Sarum Orchestra in Salisbury and the Banks String Quartet. I am Chairman of Wantage Music Festival.

My wife is a GP in Didcot, and we have four grown up daughters.
