Unfortunately we have to inform you that Dr Carey will be leaving the practice in October. Although he has enjoyed working at Church Street, he has struggled to balance his commute and busy working day with home life in Witney. He would like to thank all of his patients for their kindness and support since his arrival last summer and wishes them well for the future.

We would like to thank Dr Carey for all his hard work and dedication to the practice over the past 14 months. He is an excellent doctor and we will miss him as a friend and colleague. We hope you will all join with us in wishing him well for the future.

The practice will be employing two new doctors, Dr Eleanor Vogel and Dr Vineet Joshi. Dr Vogel will be doing a few sessions in September but from the beginning of October she will regularly work Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Dr Joshi will join the practice on 4 October and work Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Dr Carey’s patients will need to choose a new doctor. For administrative purposes we will be reallocating patients on an alphabetical basis between Dr Vogel and Dr Joshi but as always you may choose which of our doctors you see and once you have settled with a doctor, we will try and update our records to show your preferred doctor. This will take time so you may find that some things, such as prescriptions, may show the wrong doctor but it will get changed and updated as everything settles down again.
